June 16th – Congratulations to Darcy Collins, Milly Bunning, Lucy Wren and  Rebecca Devereux for making it past the first stage of Academy selections.  Next year is your year Katie!  Keep up the good work girls.

June 12th –  Good luck to Darcy Collins, Milly Bunning, Lucy Wren, Rebecca Devereux and Katie Tippite who are all trialling for the England Netball East Region Academy on Sunday.

June 11th – well done to all the players who participated in the Luton Tornadoes Tournament in the U15 group.  You did extremely well to win one match and closely contest a 2nd considering the majority of you were ‘playing up’.  Thank you for your team spirit and excellent behaviour and thank you to the parent helper on the day, Helen Hazell, who assisted Debbie and Vince.

June 11th – Well played to the Typhoons squad who played at the Luton Tornadoes tournament on Saturday.  You were playing in an older age group and with players that you’re not familiar with

June – Congratulations to Caryn Fripp and Claire Bowen who are now qualified Level 2 Coaches

April – Congratulations to Lian Howlett who is now a fully qualified ‘C’ Umpire.

March 13th 2016 – Congratulations to our U16 squad – Hurricanes who placed runners-up in the Bedford County Clubs Tournament in November to secure a place at the East Region Clubs Competition in Ipswich in March.  At Ipswich the players were outstanding – playing with heart and gutsy determination they can hold their heads high!  Although they were unlucky not to have come away with a win there was a mountain of positives to take from their performance. Thank you to the loyal parents (and little sisters) who supported the players and club on the day. Here are the match results:

Norfolk Utd 21 LBYNC 5
LBYNC 5 Star 11
LBYNC 8 Ipswich ladies 10
Saffron Hawks 8 LBYNC 6
Turnford 23 LBYNC 2
LBYNC 5 Conquerers 17

To put the results into perspective, both Turnford and Norfolk Utd were the 2 Clubs that eventually qualified for Nationals – so we are insanely proud of this squads achievements.
